Rebecca is a corporate and charitable trust business development consultant, passionate about delivering needed services in the non profit sector and highly skilled at identifying niche partners and funding.
She is experienced in working within large organisations securing contracts and funding in excess of £1million, as well as with small charities in implementing fundraising strategies and business plans.
Rebecca has a strong background within the voluntary sector, including local authority and housing associations. She has over 10 years’ experience within social care with specialisms in homelessness, housing, health, mental health, domestic violence and sexual violence (with a BA Hons Degree in Humanities and a Postgraduate Diploma in Women and Child Abuse).
Rebecca is experienced in conducting research to inform appropriate funding streams. She is also skilled in developing influential, effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Her skills span income generation, project implementation, relationship development, event coordination and campaigns.
Outside of work, having escaped the big city to the coast, she enjoys long coastal walks with her two border terriers. She believes in a calm approach to life and uses yoga to balance out her busy work schedule.
Rebecca’s key achievements include:
• Securing a range of bids within the social care sector for a large housing association ranging from £500,000 – £1 million.
• Founding a domestic violence charity and delivering an adolescent and outreach service for victims of domestic violence.
• Presenting evidence to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Prostitution.
