WCS is a social enterprise and registered charity, providing early years community nursery settings for 800 children in and around Westminster, many of whom are disadvantaged.

Bonnie Clayton worked with Westminster Children’s Society as a Fundraising Consultant throughout 2007. During this time, she undertook the following work which helped in shaping the organisation’s future fundraising strategy:

• Thorough internal and external research and production of a comprehensive prospect list of target companies to approach
• Working closely with the WCS team, she designed and prepared innovative funding and partnership packages
• Built relationships and partnerships with companies
• Working with the WCS Contracts Manager, she generated a corporate partnership package for work-place nursery schemes and employer partnerships
